Destination Redwood

Posted in 3d & Animation, Tear Sheets on November 15th, 2007

This advertisement was a collaborative effort with Stuart Rosebrock who was responsible for the layout. I modeled and rendered the three sets of elevator doors in 3D Studio MAX and Stuart assembled the renderings with the photos in Photoshop. Initially a two-page spread version was published in Elevator World Magazine and has been reinforced with the single page version show below.

The Pod

Posted in 3d & Animation, BFTP, Design on July 26th, 2007

I made this animation back in 1999 for a trade show video using 3D Studio MAX. The animation was used in the beginning of a promo video to introduce the “birth” of a product. I remember this being a very fun project and decided to make it the first entry in the “Blast From the Past” category.

Thanksgiving 2006

Posted in 3d & Animation on November 23rd, 2006

The kids and I started a new Thanksgiving tradition this year by making a stop motion animation. All of the props were things that the kids had made for various crafts at church and school. It was a learning experience and a lot of fun for all of us.

Happy Thanksgiving!
