Katie & Amar (Part B)

For most people, planning one wedding in a weekend is an accomplishment; planning two means you must be professional wedding planners. I think your guests will agree that you not only planned two weddings but two spectacular weddings.

Thank you again for asking me to photograph your weddings. It was a weekend that I won’t soon forget. Enjoy the photos!

Katie & Amar (Part A)

Your wedding celebration was like none I had ever seen before and was definitely new to our small town. Although the colors were spectacular and the Hindu culture intriguing, your love for each other was the center of the celebration. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your special day/weekend.

For those who may find it more difficult to follow the events of Katie and Amar’s wedding in a still gallery, you may find it helpful to visit Katie and Amar’s wedding website for a brief description of the ceremony.

Samantha & Andrew

In the days leading up to your wedding, I was trying to think of photo ideas for a rainy day, ways to keep the camera gear as dry as possible and just planning for all of the challenges that come with bad weather. But, surprisingly, the weather turned out to be beautiful – perfect for an outdoor wedding. I know that planning for an outdoor wedding at a home can be a lot of work but I think it was definitely worth it.

I enjoyed spending the day with you both and I hope you enjoy the pictures.

Stacy & Josh

It was the Smithfield Hams that first brought you together but I’m sure you would have found each other sooner or later. Perhaps it would have been your mutual love of football or something else but I’m sure it would have happened eventually.

Thank you for letting me in on your day. I hope you enjoy the pictures.

I Am The Hammer

This year’s Easter drama at Pettisville Missionary Church features people in present-day scenarios juxtaposed with Christ’s birth, life and “those people” responsible for His crucifixion. The title I Am The Hammer, is a constant reminder that “those people” are not as distant as we sometimes believe.

The concept of this drama inspired me to create the image below. It features a crowd of hammers at the foot of the cross all poised to drive the nail – I am the hammer.
